When we start working with a new client, one of the first steps we take is making sure your accounting system and our reporting tools are speaking the same language. Connecting Thryvv.io with your MYOB account allows us to securely access the financial information we need to analyse your business, prepare reports, and support your turnaround or strategy work without interrupting your bookkeeping processes.
This short guide walks you through how to connect your MYOB account to Thryvv.io — step by step — so we can get straight to work helping you take control of the numbers and move your business forward.
Step 1: Go to the MYOB website
- Visit https://www.myob.com/au
- Click “Sign In” (top right corner)
- Choose
MYOB Business / AccountRight / Essentials depending on your
software
(You can check your plan type on your invoice or welcome email — most current small businesses use MYOB Business or AccountRight Live.)
Step 2: Sign in with your MYOB login
- Enter your email address and password.
- This is usually the email you used when you first subscribed to MYOB.
- Click Sign In.
If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, you’ll get a code via email or app — enter it to continue.
Step 3: Choose your business file
- Once logged in, select your business from the list of files.
- Click “Open” or “Go to business”.
If you’re using:
- MYOB Business → You’ll be taken to the web dashboard.
- MYOB AccountRight Live → You’ll need to open your file via the AccountRight desktop app.
👥 PART 2 — Giving Thryvv Access
Please follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to “My Account” → “Manage Users”
- Log into MYOB.
- Click your business name (top right) → select “Users” or “Manage Users”.
Step 2: Add a new user
- Click “Invite a User”.
- Enter their name and email address.
- Choose their access level – please give us full access so we can access all areas to check for compliance
- Read-only or Full access
- Click Send Invitation.
The user will get an email with a link to accept and log in using their own MYOB credentials.
